Each year, Mitchell Electric Membership Corporation offers juniors who live on EMC lines a chance to compete against other young people from our area. Nominees from different schools from 14 surrounding counties get together to interview and compete against each other. The four winners receive an all-expenses paid week-long trip to Washington, DC for leadership training plus lots of FUN!!! Some activities include a riverboat cruise down the Potomac, a visit to the Holocaust Museum, and an inside look at our government in action, plus all the usual points of interest. In the past we have had many students win so congratulations on continuing Westwood’s winning tradition!
